Bright Sunday is all about reducing global greenhouse gas emissions. The burning of coal, natural gas, and oil for electricity and heat is still the largest single source of global CO₂ emissions. That’s why switching to renewable energy is one of the most important things we can do to stop global warming. And we’re in a hurry. Bright Sunday was started to help make that switch as quickly as possible.

The maritime ecosystem is being electrified

We stand on the brink of a transformation. The maritime world is becoming electrified, with a goal to have an emission-free global fleet by 2050.

This means that as we upgrade old or build new vessels, we must ensure that they do not emit harmful greenhouse gases. They must also provide a safe, durable, and cost-efficient solution with a long life cycle.

This is no small task. At least 150,000 vessels are in need of a new energy solution over the next 30 years.

Thanks to a patented modular system, Modvion has been able to develop wind towers that can reach the heights the wind power industry is striving for whilst remaining cost-efficient. The modules can be easily stacked on trucks and transported on roads, without the need for road closures and lengthy permit procedures. Modvion's tower technology is the next generation of tall, carbon-neutral towers for the wind power industry - renewable energy built with renewable materials.
